With Warsow 0.3 a new map spotted the light: wdm11. Some guys like it and some hate it for it visuals and for gameplay. With 0.31 the map gets changed texture-wise and I asked acid to make a little history about the creation process of wdm11.

Welcome! Lets get started with IRC.
1. Download mIRC --> http://mirc.com/get.html
2. Install mIRC --> http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/2756/mirc1ix0.png
3. Click 'Servers' under connect, and select Quakenet (and your closest location) --> http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/2281/mirc3cq0.png
4. Set up your name, email address etc --> http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/3567/mirc2mc3.png
5. Press connect --> http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/1998/mirc4ny1.png
6. After about 15 seconds, you will be connected to quakenet. A favorites box will pop-up, uncheck 'Show Favorites on Connect' --> http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/6569/mirc5sj8.png
7. At the server window, type /join #warsow and press [Enter] ---> http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/2091/wsw6fv5.png
8. Find out some other channels to /join! Some popular warsow ones: #warsow.pickup, #warsow.de, #warsownews
