Warsow 0.4 is near but what's really inside the next release? I gathered all the infos, pics and videos for you to get an overview.
This article is divided in several sections:
1. WarsowTV and minimaps
2. Maps (wdm2, wdm4, wdm6, wtest8, wdm11, wdm15, wdm17)
3. Gametypes (CTF, iTDM, Duel Arena)
4. Visuals (renderer feautures, profiles, models)
5. Gameplay changes
6. Misc (bot AI and Matchmaker)
All images and infos were gathered from official sources like the blog and the forums. Some screenshots might be outdated but you'd get the trick. It took me days, enjoy! :)
1. WarsowTV and minimaps With WarsowTV games can be streamed to lot of people at the same time. The WarsowTV server connects to a game server and forwards the data to the clients. No more full servers with too less slots for specs. You can choose who you'd like to spec, which view (in-eye or third person) and if you want enable a minimap with items and other details. In effect it's an multiview-demo livestream.
Minimaps are small 2d image overviews from the current map. Mappers don't have to worry about building and including the 2d image, Warsow's SDK ships with a small tool to do that. The image shows important items (armors, weapons). The minimap is a part of WarsowTV but is available to ordinary spectators, too.

Find Duel Arena under Gametypes. I just forgot to add it to the article structure.
