Warsow 0.4 is much more polished than every Warsow version before. You can expect new renderer features like bumpmapping, specularmapping, realtime reflections and other advanced enginefeatures. Vic (maschinemessias), the coder of the QFusion engine Warsow is built one, put a lot of work into the new graphic effects. You can select different graphic profiles from the menu. ETR explains the different gfx profiles:

We now have very simple and basic profiles for graphical settings, in effect configs with most of the relevant cvars pre-set. Supplying settings for low, normal, high and extreme graphical effects, players will be able to switch around with the graphic settings without messing up their configs. Which also means people experiencing problems with fps can easily try our low gfx profile, saves some time on explaining all the cvars I suppose ;). Also a fifth profile, not handling the graphical quality or performance, but giving you the most visibility and overview. Think high picmip, washed out, high-contrast settings

Speaking of profiles and easy control over the looks: Warsow has now a cel-shading switcher. This means you can disable or enable cel-shading for all maps just as you like. Mappers don't need to build their maps with cel-shaders, Warsow does!

New animations for dashing and ofc the new rockettrail are on the way, too. You can disable all the comic-like visuals for a better overview. They look really nice for spectators but in hectic situations with a lot of players on a small area at the same time it's getting a bit messy.

New model on the catwalk! Bobot, the robot in the Warsow lineup, is the new character. He does some crrrz other metallic noises. Watch him in action in the iTDM promo video.

Another fellow was announced in recent blog entry but rumors have it he's shy and might be waiting for his turn a bit longer.

Find Duel Arena under Gametypes. I just forgot to add it to the article structure.
