RACEATHON - War§ow race competition

Although the movement aspect of War§ow is very fundamental it hasn't got enough attention so far. That should change and that's why Zyfo and his raceathon crew plan a race competition.
When
January 18th (Thursday) 19.00 GMT (20.00 CET, 14.00 EST)
Ending: January 21st, 2007 (Sunday) 20.00 GMT (21.00 CET, 15.00 EST)
How
Three Warsow race maps by BardoK, Jezus, and Kriuq will be made for this competition only. You'll have exactly 24 hours on each map. After that no more demos will be accepted.
Signup
There's no signup, just send in your demo in time and you'll be considered as a competitor!
Schedule
Thursday 19.00 GMT - 1st map released.
Friday 19.00 GMT - 1st round is over. 2nd map released.
Friday 20.00 GMT - 1st round times and placements announced.
Saturday 19.00 GMT - 2nd round is over. 3rd map released.
Saturday 20.00 GMT - 2nd round times and placements announced.
Sunday 19.00 GMT - 3rd round is over.
Saturday 20.00 GMT - Tournament over, prize ceremony!
There are much more infos in raceathon thread on warsow forums including demo recording and submitting hints.
Hopefully this will produce race maps and bring new racers into the scene. Maybe we even can expect movement tutorials from the winner. Would be a nice effort.

I would like to say good luck to all competitors and that I hope you enjoy all our maps... big shout out to Zyfo, soh-Zolex, and soh-Lokirulez for helping us with this competition! Thanksk from all of Team Strafe Jump Kings!
